Face Waxing Pre-Treatment Instructions
10 days prior no Botox injections. Muscle Relaxants affect the brow shape. 1-week prior STOP using any active skin care products containing Retinol (Vitamin A) AHA/BHA’s or peroxides. These thin your skin and increase post waxing sensitivity. If you are taking prescription Accutane (Roaccutane) you are not permitted any form of waxing. By booking your waxing services an option to tweeze is given to you, for the same fee and time of full priced services. 1 week prior no skin peels, Laser, IPL or skin needling. Brow Dye and Tint Pre-Treatment Instructions Gently exfoliate your face and brows the day prior Absolutely NO face tanning for 1 week prior Please arrive to your appointment with clean brows Brow Tint vs Brow Dye While both services colour the hairs permanently (up to 6 weeks): a tint will colour the skin for a few days, where a brow dye stains the skin for up to 2 weeks. Follow the aftercare advice to make the most out of your brow services. If you are addicted to your brow dye and want to make it more permanent, then Ombre Brow tattooing is your best option. Please refer to the cosmetic tattoo page for more information. Brow Dye and Tint After Care It is recommended to avoid contact with water for 24 hours after the procedure. Avoid aggressive cosmetic treatment (scrubs, peels, alcohol-containing products) and steam (baths and saunas). Do not use lotions, toners and creams directly in the eyebrow area. Lash lift Pre-Treatment Advice 1-week prior stop using any products on lashes- including, serums balms and vaseline. (FYI no one should use Vaseline on their lashes) 1-day prior stop using lash serums and eye cream/gel. Ideally “hair wash day” should be the day before your appointment. (or 2 days after) On the day: arrive without any eye make up on Lash Lift After Care 24hour rule of no lash contact with water, steam, no touching or rubbing. For 24 you will need to steer clear of ALL skincare and makeup products in the eye area. No shampoo, creams, face wash, or mascara. For 24hrs no swimming in chlorinated pools or the ocean.
